You have 5+ years of experience in data science, particularly in developing statistical models and metrics for performance evaluation. Your background includes working with large datasets and applying machine learning techniques to solve complex problems. You are proficient in Python and have experience with libraries such as TensorFlow and Pandas, enabling you to manipulate and analyze data effectively. You understand the nuances of autonomous driving technology and are passionate about leveraging data to improve safety and service quality.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams throughout the software development cycle. Your strong analytical skills allow you to derive insights from data, and you are comfortable communicating these findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for experimental design, ensuring that your evaluations are robust and reliable.
Experience with simulation technologies and their application in data generation is a plus. You will also engage in rigorous performance evaluations, analyzing data from millions of miles driven and tens of billions of miles simulated. Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
