Overview

DigiCert is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the accounts receivable team and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. You'll leverage your accounting expertise and leadership skills to manage billing processes and improve financial operations.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in accounting with at least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field — your expertise allows you to lead teams effectively while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You possess excellent leadership skills and are detail-oriented, which helps you manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable department efficiently.

Your analytical mindset enables you to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions — you are comfortable working with aging reports and resolving billing discrepancies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is second nature to you, and you have experience with credit and collection software systems.

You excel in communication, both written and verbal, allowing you to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding outstanding balances and payment terms. You are proactive in implementing process improvements that enhance the efficiency of the accounts receivable function.

Desirable

Experience in a global organization is a plus, as it equips you with the skills to navigate diverse financial landscapes. Familiarity with various billing and collections processes will further strengthen your ability to lead the team effectively.

What you'll do

As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor at DigiCert, you will oversee the accounts receivable team, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of outstanding invoices. You will manage invoicing processes and monitor aging reports to maintain the organization's financial health. Your role will involve resolving billing discrepancies and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

You will work closely with the finance team, sales department, and external clients to ensure smooth communication regarding outstanding balances and payment terms. Regular reporting on receivables performance will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to provide insights into the financial status of the organization.
