Overview

Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a passion for technology.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are excited about the potential of the Internet of Things (IoT) to transform businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with mid-sized customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. You are comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, to drive sales and negotiate complex deals. You are results-oriented and have a strong desire to impact the growth of a pioneering company in the IoT space.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales to mid-sized customers, showcasing the benefits of Samsara's IoT solutions. You will manage the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, which typically range from $20k to $100k. You will conduct product demonstrations, manage trials, and negotiate pricing with various stakeholders. Your role will involve approximately 25% travel to meet clients and attend industry events, allowing you to build strong relationships and expand your network. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and product offerings.
