As a Software Engineer II on the Driver Platform team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundational systems that power Windows device drivers. You will work on core frameworks and tooling that facilitate the installation, servicing, and lifecycle management of device drivers. You will engage in the development of developer kits that enable driver development, providing essential resources for hardware partners. Your work will include implementing static and runtime verification systems, as well as certification test suites that ensure the quality of device drivers.
In addition, you will contribute to security analysis for in-production drivers, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing solutions to mitigate risks. Your involvement in AI-first tooling will allow you to explore innovative approaches to code generation and analysis, enhancing the efficiency of the development process.
