You are adept at problem-solving and can generate creative solutions to overcome challenges in a fast-paced production environment. You have experience in tracking metrics and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize production efficiency. You are passionate about developing talent and enjoy recruiting and training new team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

What you'll do

As the Supervisor of Welding for the Super Heavy Booster team, you will manage an hourly workforce of welders and technicians, delivering daily work assignments and overseeing personnel development. You will create and maintain a tight production schedule, ensuring that your team meets the demands of downstream integration areas. Your role will involve providing technical mentorship and support to your team, helping them to grow their expertise in welding processes. You will track shop floor metrics and partner with engineering to maximize delivery rates through high asset utilization and low cycle times. Additionally, you will facilitate conflict resolution and address repeat issues with corrective actions, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment. You will collaborate closely with management and engineering teams to streamline work processes and resolve any challenges that arise during production.
