Associate Manager, Contracts & Advisory

Who you are

You have a law degree (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university and a minimum of 4 years of experience in legal roles, particularly in contracts and advisory. You possess a strong understanding of legal frameworks and compliance requirements, enabling you to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively. Your analytical skills allow you to assess risks and provide sound legal advice to support business objectives. You are detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills, which help you articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work. What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the legal aspects of contracts and advisory services, ensuring that all agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to provide legal guidance on business initiatives and help mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring that the terms are favorable and protect the interests of PhonePe. You will also stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the company and advise on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures. Your role will involve training and educating team members on legal compliance and best practices, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability. You will work closely with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring that the company receives the best legal representation.
