As a Software Engineer on the Cluster Networking team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large features that support the self-driving-networks mission. You will work closely with a team of engineers to build, deploy, and operate systems that manage network systems effectively. Your role will involve developing new systems to meet emerging customer requirements while also evolving and sustaining existing systems. You will be expected to build automated tests for data center network software and design systems that operate globally as well as those that execute in regional isolation. Additionally, you will work on automation systems that handle complex network lifecycle operations, such as expanding, upgrading, and decommissioning network sub-components. Your contributions will improve the availability and debuggability of data center networks, ensuring they meet the growing demand for distributed computing.
Google offers a competitive salary range for this full-time position, with a base salary between $141,000 and $202,000, plus bonuses and equity.
