You have a strong background in API design, governance, development, and solution architecture — with at least 5 years of experience in technical consulting and implementation engagements. Your hands-on approach and customer-facing skills make you an ideal candidate for this role, as you thrive in environments where you can directly impact customer success. You understand the complexities of delivering both fixed-price and time-and-material projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while delivering tangible value to clients. You are adept at collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to shape solutions that meet customer needs.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams is crucial, as you will be working closely with various departments to ensure successful project delivery. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which enables you to navigate challenges that arise during project execution. You are also committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, particularly in the API space.

Desirable

Experience with Postman or similar API platforms is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to deliver effective solutions. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools will also be beneficial in this role, as you will be managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Architect at Postman, you will lead the delivery of technical consulting engagements for our enterprise customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget while delivering exceptional value to clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and design solutions that leverage Postman's API platform effectively. This will involve conducting workshops, providing hands-on training, and guiding clients through the implementation process.

You will collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for upselling and expanding our services within existing accounts. Your technical expertise will be invaluable in shaping proposals and ensuring that we meet customer expectations. You will also work with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback on customer needs and help shape the future of our API platform.

In addition to project delivery, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members and sharing your knowledge of best practices in API design and implementation. You will contribute to the development of internal resources and documentation to support the broader team in delivering high-quality solutions.
