Google is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Mid Market Sales to drive customer growth through effective digital advertising strategies. You'll leverage your experience in consultative sales and digital marketing, particularly with Google Ads. This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, or digital marketing. Your background includes working in an online media environment, and you possess the ability to travel for client meetings and training as needed. You are skilled in strategically assessing and achieving client success through effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling. Your experience includes working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients, and you have a proven track record in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.

You excel at managing and prioritizing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, demonstrating your ability to achieve goals that drive growth. You have a knack for building compelling narratives and utilizing storytelling as a client engagement strategy. Your passion for sales and knowledge of online media, combined with your commitment to maximizing customer success, sets you apart. You act like an owner, moving with velocity through change and finding innovative ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and your customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive customer growth by delivering an excellent business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. You will manage the business process, driving customer outreach, business pitches, solution implementation, and performance evaluation. Your efforts will contribute to quarterly business and product growth goals through MO-based selling, operational excellence, and the ability to drive both depth and breadth in client relationships. You will build trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that client needs are met and exceeded, and you will continuously seek opportunities for improvement in the sales process.
