Senior Art Director - Studio

The role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Art Director for HelloFresh on a fixed term contract. You will be part of our content creation team, working to develop and execute visual concepts for photo and video. With a keen eye for striking and impactful visuals as well as a solid understanding of brand and creative, you will help our creative teams to execute channel specific, focused, scroll-stopping content. 

You will have extensive hands-on experience on photo and video sets, guiding teams and raising the bar in terms of creativity and quality of execution. With a clear communication style you will be an effective people leader and relationship builder focused on creatives. You have a deep understanding of cultural relevance for brands and are comfortable taking creative risk and defining brand guardrails. You work regularly with AI-driven tools to complement creativity and will seek out new ways to integrate them in our creative work.

What you’ll do

• Develop visual concepts for photo and video productions for HelloFresh Group brands globally 
• Represent a position of creative authority for photo and video productions both on set and in post production
• Build authority as a brand guardian, connecting our content creation across touchpoints
• Elevate the quality of our creative content, communicating clearly and guiding creative teams towards excellence
• Champion and use AI-tools to enhance every step of the creative workflow
• Collaborate closely with product, editorial and production teams to ensure our high quality creative output is on brand and  growing our cultural relevance
• Act as a creative feedback owner and trusted partner for studio and internal business clients 
• Communicate and help to expand our content guidelines for HelloFresh Group brands
• Build trust with all HelloFresh internal content customers

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in creative teams, studio production. Experience working with food content is a plus
• A strong portfolio of creative work, showing a range of projects in both photography and video
• Familiarity with photo, video, and postproduction workflows and tools
• An eye for detail, visual storytelling, and craft that you apply to a high standard of execution
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both marketing and creative teams
• Distilling strategic and marketing briefs into actionable creative guidance for on set teams
• A passion for bringing innovative technologies such as Generative AI to creative workflows
• Top-notch organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying priorities
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
