Handshake is seeking a Head of Strategic Projects to lead an AI delivery pod and drive high-priority initiatives. You'll work closely with operations, product, growth, and research teams. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills.
You have a proven track record of leading strategic projects, ideally within the AI or technology sectors. With at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, you understand how to manage complex initiatives and drive results. Your background includes working with cross-functional teams, and you excel at turning data into actionable strategies. You are comfortable in high-pressure environments and can navigate the challenges that come with scaling operations. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including product, operations, and growth teams. You are passionate about leveraging AI to transform how careers are built and how work gets done.
Experience in the SaaS industry or with AI technologies is a plus. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools will help you thrive in this role. You are a strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with immediate operational needs. A background in business management or a related field will be beneficial.
As the Head of Strategic Projects, you will own an AI delivery pod that operates like its own mini business within Handshake AI. You will lead a multi-layered team of managers and Strategic Project Leads, ensuring accountability for throughput, quality, and economics across high-priority initiatives. Your role will involve conducting Weekly Business Reviews and pod-level planning, as well as hands-on problem-solving when projects are at risk. You will be at the center of operations, product, growth, and research, translating evolving data strategies into clear plans and systems that execute at a high standard. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within your team, ensuring that all members are aligned with the company's mission and goals. Your leadership will be critical in scaling Handshake AI's operations and achieving its strategic objectives.
