Who you are

You are a student eager to gain hands-on experience in finance, ideally with a background in accounting or finance courses. You possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and have completed introductory college-level courses in finance or accounting. You are enthusiastic about solving real-world problems and are ready to immerse yourself in a collaborative team environment.

What you'll do

As a Finance Intern at Minitab, you will engage in various accounting and clerical functions that support the Finance Department. Your responsibilities will include preparing account analyses, reports, and schedules, as well as reviewing Sales Tax Exemption Certificates. You will assist in the annual preparation and disposal of Fixed Assets and help with the entry of Accounts Payable vouchers into the financial accounting system. Additionally, you will support the team in preparing for the Annual Audit, gaining valuable insights into the finance operations of a fast-growing analytics software company.
