Overview

Revance is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to lead contract development and negotiation across the company. You'll provide legal support for various agreements and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires extensive experience in contract management and legal advisory.

Who you are

You are a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in corporate law, particularly in contract management and negotiation. You have a proven track record of drafting, reviewing, and managing a wide range of contracts, including product distribution agreements and SaaS agreements. Your ability to identify and communicate legal issues and business risks is exceptional, allowing you to provide practical, solution-oriented advice to internal stakeholders.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, engaging proactively with internal clients and vendors to address contractual and business questions. Your strong communication skills enable you to succinctly convey complex legal concepts to non-legal teams, ensuring that all parties understand the implications of contractual terms. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that all contracts align with company policies and mitigate potential risks.

Desirable

Experience in international contract negotiation is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory compliance in the healthcare sector. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Regulatory, and IT, and you enjoy training and guiding business teams on legal matters.

What you'll do

In this role, you will independently draft, review, negotiate, and manage both in-house and third-party contracts. You will oversee the company’s contract management system, ensuring that all contracts are stored, tracked, and compliant with legal standards. You will serve as the legal contracts representative for various departments, providing guidance and support on contractual matters.

Your responsibilities will include identifying and defining legal issues and business risks, communicating these effectively to decision-makers, and providing actionable advice. You will proactively engage with internal clients to address their contractual needs and ensure that all agreements are consistent with company policies. Additionally, you will train and guide business teams on best practices in contract management and negotiation.
