Job Description

The First Mile Capacity Planning role provides Operations with solutions for in-station and on-the-road operations, both year-round and during seasonal peaks.

The ideal candidate is passionate about using data to deliver actionable plans that impact the business. They have a strong track record of delivering results and are experienced in executing within a cross-functional environment, leveraging analysis and data. They thrive in a fast-paced setting, working with large datasets, and solving highly complex and ambiguous problems.

As a Planning Analyst in the Capacity Planning area, you will work on the weekly and daily cadence for generating labor plans for Seller Processing Centers, ensuring the organization is well-prepared for future demands. You will analyze execution gaps to improve future plans and collaborate across teams to ensure decisions align with the overall business strategy.

The impact of this position is significant, as it involves making decisions that affect the entire country network of one of the largest companies in the world. Key job responsibilities
You will work with the Supply Chain team to transform volume inputs into labor plan outputs on a weekly and daily cadence.

You will be responsible for continuously improving this process, as well as analyzing and reporting results to the business. By collaborating with Finance, Operations, and other teams, you will ensure that your plans are precise, actionable, cost-effective, and continuously optimized.

A day in the life
You will:
- Work with teams across Amazon to turn volume forecast inputs into an executable plan output;

- Interact with stakeholders across the Amazon and First Mile network to ensure Day of Pickup plan execution is optimal;

- Support leadership with important data analytics to ensure prompt and precise decision-making.- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related fields;
- Experience with Excel;
- Experience in data mining;
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques;
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, warehouse planning, and inventory planning in operations such as the e-commerce industry, manufacturing, and related areas;
- Advanced English and fluent Portuguese.- - Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- - Experience with SQL
- - Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
