HubSpot is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution for their Billing platform. You'll leverage AI and data analysis to enhance financial operations for small and medium-sized businesses. This role requires a deep understanding of finance workflows and product management experience.
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in financial operations or billing systems — you understand the complexities of the quote-to-cash journey and have a proven track record of driving product strategy from concept to launch. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement and to enhance customer experiences. You are comfortable engaging with customers directly, gathering insights that inform your product decisions, and you thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration is key. You are passionate about using innovative solutions, including AI, to solve complex problems and improve financial workflows for users. You have experience working closely with engineering and design teams, ensuring that product visions are translated into actionable roadmaps. You are a strong communicator, able to motivate and align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
Experience with AI-driven product features or enhancements would be a plus, as would familiarity with billing policies and legal entities in financial operations. A background in working with small to medium-sized businesses can also be beneficial, as it provides context for the challenges they face in financial management.
In this role, you will create a cohesive roadmap for HubSpot's billing platform, ensuring that it aligns with the overall product strategy and company goals. You will drive alignment across teams, setting clear objectives and motivating cross-functional partners to achieve them. Engaging with customers will be a regular part of your role, as you seek to understand their journeys and pain points, using this knowledge to inform product development. Leading the product strategy for the billing engine, you will focus on key areas such as billing policy and legal entity management, ensuring that the product meets the needs of its users while complying with relevant regulations.
