We’re looking for a motivated and organized Transport Planner to join our Operations team in Milan and support us in optimizing and simplifying road freight in Italy and across Europe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO ...

In this fast-paced role, you’ll be in charge of daily shipment operations and carrier relationships, ensuring top-quality and on-time transport services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating domestic and international truck transport (Full Truck Load), closely monitoring all shipments.
• Managing relationships with national and international carriers, identifying and onboarding new partners based on pricing, performance, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiating spot rates to maximize profitability and meet customer needs.
• Handling booking processes, checking customs documentation, issuing transport insurance, and tracking shipments through to delivery.
• Analyzing operational data (e.g., KPIs, costs, delivery times) to drive improvements.
• Collaborating with Operations, Finance, and Quality teams to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
• Managing claims, mediation processes, and logistics risks, including insurance coverage when needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role (dispatcher, traffic planner, carrier/operator).
• Solid understanding of FTL road transport, national and European logistics, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and digital tools for operational tracking and analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in Italian with good command of English.
• Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work well under pressure.
