The Amazon Central Engineering Services team is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative cloud based (AWS) applications that customers love. You will have an opportunity to influence the specification, design, architecture, and implementation of solutions used every day by people you interact with regularly. Influence the design choices made in the team- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Proficiency with at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Java, Python, Golang)
- Track record of delivering correct, stable, performant, and secure software
- Experience with project delivery for large, cross-functional projects- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience building distributed computing and enterprise-wide system
- Knowledge of Distributed SOA Architecture, Relational DB knowledge, DynamoDB, and various AWS technologies such as SQS, S3, CloudFormation, etc
- Full Stack application development experience such as frontend UX development with ReactJS, Vuetify, JS and html, backend Restful API endpoint implementation
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and working as a team is desired
- Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX pattern
