Amazon is hiring a Graduate Shift Manager to oversee team operations and ensure timely delivery of goods. You'll be responsible for safety compliance, process optimization, and team leadership in Knüllwald.
As a Graduate Shift Manager, you are prepared to take on leadership responsibilities after completing an extensive 11-week onboarding program. You will ensure that your team delivers goods to customers on time and in good quality. You are committed to maintaining safety standards and optimizing processes based on key performance indicators such as safety, productivity, and quality. You will lead and develop a team of up to 100 employees, planning and managing internal processes effectively. Your role requires collaboration with various departments to enhance customer satisfaction and improve workflows.
Experience in team leadership or management roles is a plus, as is familiarity with safety regulations and process improvement methodologies. You should be comfortable working in shifts, including early, late, or night shifts, and be able to adapt to the dynamic environment of a large-scale operation.
In your role, you will work in one of the shifts, ensuring that safety standards are upheld across your location. As a shift leader, you will conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to your team members and stakeholders. You will analyze data to influence operational decisions and drive improvements. Your responsibilities will include planning and controlling internal processes, participating in overarching projects aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing resources and workflows effectively. You will also be involved in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless operations.
