Job Description

At Amazon, our HR Regional Partners are known for their knowledge of HR programs, processes and tools. They act as the front-line consultant to the business supporting managers in creating a positive employee experience and offering the best HR advice on people matters. They operate independently and are seen as subject matter experts, having deep knowledge in business lines and local programs, processes, and policies. They offer strong, credible and compelling advice to business leaders on how to manage their team. They are committed to collaboration with multiple HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence like Benefits, Compensation and Employee relation teams who support our employees in Türkiye.



Key job responsibilities
- Performance and Talent Management: Work with people managers through performance management cases. Partner with leaders to ensure fair and consistent performance management by providing high judgment guidance on processes and auditing that evaluations are free from bias. Analyze performance data, risks across teams, and trends to identify areas for improvement in the performance management system.

- Employee Relations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations and support employee grievances and escalations. Own investigations and manage ER cases, in coordination with the Employee Relations and with the Legal department. Analyze findings of investigations, prepare recommendations, and ensure issues are closed out with relevant parties.

- HR Policy: Ensure site regulatory compliance with labor law requirements and other local regulatory mandates. Direct and provide leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. Review local HR policies and processes in order to ensure that they are fit for purpose.

- Organization and Change Management: Support and own various change management plans. Manage HR programs that support org structure improvements. in Provide support on change initiatives.

- HR General: Act as steward of the manager experience and Amazon’s culture. Act as subject matter expert for people tools, processes, programs or projects. Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate.- Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Human Resources or related field
- Relevant Human Resources experience
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.
- Knowledge and application of Labor Law in Türkiye
- Effective communication skills; excellent speaking and writing Turkish & English skills
- Drives recommendations and prioritization in collaboration with HR or business leaders to put decisions into a broader business context.
- Thrives in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
- Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team & business
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Project management and execution skills.
- Coaching and consulting skills
