Who you are

You have a solid mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing — you understand the complexities involved in assembling and testing rocket propulsion components. You thrive in a leadership role, guiding a team of technicians while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You are adaptable and can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to learn quickly and effectively. You foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within your team, promoting technician efficiency and product reliability. Your experience includes leading teams, and you are comfortable managing dynamic scheduling environments. You are committed to maintaining rigorous safety standards while achieving production goals.

What you'll do

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a team of over 15 technicians in the assembly of more than 80 different valves for rocket propulsion systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the assembly, testing, and re-work of complex components, ensuring maximum reliability in extreme environments. Your role will involve promoting team safety and product reliability while enhancing technician efficiency. You will collaborate with peer teams to foster a culture of inclusivity and teamwork. You will also be tasked with maintaining rigorous quality standards throughout the production process, ensuring that all components meet the necessary specifications for performance and safety. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding your team through the challenges of aerospace manufacturing, and you will play a key role in SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars.
