Overview

DoorDash USA is seeking an Account Executive for their Emerging Markets team to drive growth by building partnerships with SMB merchants. This role involves managing the full sales cycle and requires strong outbound sales skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing the full sales cycle and engaging with small and mid-size businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with cold calling and outreach to potential partners. Your ability to build relationships and consult with clients is key to your success in this role. You are adaptable and willing to travel as needed for in-person collaboration and team-building events. You are motivated by the opportunity to transform local economies through meaningful partnerships and are excited to contribute to DoorDash's mission in emerging markets.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive on the Emerging Markets team, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding high-potential SMB merchants onto the DoorDash platform. You will manage a dedicated lead list of approximately 225 merchants, spending the majority of your day engaging in cold calls and driving a structured process to pitch and close new partnerships. You will work closely with your Inside Sales Manager, who will provide ongoing coaching and support to help you achieve your sales goals. Your role will involve understanding the unique needs of merchants in emerging markets and effectively communicating how DoorDash can help them grow and monetize their businesses through on-demand delivery.
