Software Engineering Intern, Engine Support

Who you are

You are currently studying Computer Science, Game Development, or any technical or scientific subject at university, looking for a placement year. You have proficiency with at least one programming language and a strong desire to develop your Unity knowledge while helping Unity users achieve their goals. Your good verbal and written communication skills will help you effectively assist customers and collaborate with your team. You might also have experience with C++ or C#, as well as knowledge relating to games or app development with Unity.

What you'll do

During this 11-month paid internship, starting in Summer 2026, you will work on a range of projects within Unity’s Engine Support team. You will be at the front line of the company, helping customers who are developing a wide variety of games and applications in Unity. Your role will involve working on support tickets, assisting customers with their technical problems, and developing the skills necessary to become a fully capable team member. You will work closely with customer projects, developing best practices and tools for receiving, manipulating, and navigating complex customer projects. Additionally, you will help other support engineers serve customers faster by providing technical assistance, improving processes, and developing tools.
