Overview

Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.

You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. Desirable

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support our data centers. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and various cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve hands-on work, where you will diagnose issues and implement solutions to keep our facilities running smoothly. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will also participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring that all systems are functioning at peak efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of our services, helping to maintain our commitment to 99.999% uptime.
