You have a strong background in business development, particularly within the private equity sector, and have successfully led teams to achieve strategic goals. Your experience includes building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including founders, investors, and limited partners. You understand the unique challenges and opportunities in private markets and are passionate about leveraging technology to enhance these relationships. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to mentoring and developing your team members, helping them grow in their careers. You are results-driven and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets.

What you'll do

As the Director of Business Development, you will lead a team of Business Development Managers, guiding them in their efforts to deepen relationships with private equity partners. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance Carta's presence in the private equity market, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and marketing, to align business development initiatives with overall company goals.
