Amazon is hiring a Data Center Technician to maintain and support cutting-edge data center infrastructure. You'll work with hardware troubleshooting and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires hands-on hardware experience.
You have hands-on hardware experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of maintaining data center infrastructure and are eager to contribute to a team that is changing the face of Cloud technology. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks effectively while adhering to security and safety best practices. You thrive in a collaborative setting, engaging with both internal and external customers to resolve technical issues efficiently. You are proactive in identifying process improvements and documenting best practices for global use.
As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure. You will work as part of the Operations team, meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and serving as the first line of contact for hardware troubleshooting. Your role will involve performing regular server hardware repairs, including drives and motherboards, and carrying out routine network and OS-related repairs. You will engage with cross-functional teams to complete routine work and participate in data center power and cooling events. Additionally, you will help create documentation and identify process improvements relevant to the data center.
