What you'll do

As the Lead IT Systems Engineer, you will oversee a team responsible for implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure that supports SpaceX’s launch operations. You will collaborate with various teams to distill requirements and design effective IT solutions that span the entire launch lifecycle, from pre-flight preparations to post-launch analysis. Your role will involve providing liaison support between SpaceX and the United States Space Force and NASA, participating in technical briefings, and evaluating requirements to connect appropriate resources for solving challenges. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to bolster the reliability of IT systems, focusing on change management, performance metrics, monitoring, and incident handling. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the IT systems are optimally tuned and ready to support SpaceX’s mission of becoming a multi-planetary species.
