Samsara is hiring a Senior IT Network Engineer to maintain and optimize network systems that support their Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. You'll work with technologies like Cisco and Linux to ensure seamless operations. This role requires extensive experience in network engineering.
You have 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems. Your expertise in Cisco technologies allows you to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively, ensuring high availability and performance. You are proficient in Linux, which helps you manage network services and configurations seamlessly. You understand the importance of security in network design and have experience implementing best practices to protect sensitive data. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest networking technologies and trends.
Experience with cloud networking solutions and familiarity with IoT technologies would be a plus. Knowledge of network monitoring tools and protocols will enhance your ability to maintain optimal network performance.
