Formlabs is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design and build prototypes and production electronic systems. You'll work with embedded firmware, circuit design, and PCB layout in Boston. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering.
You are an Electrical Engineer with a passion for bridging the gap between the analog and digital worlds. You have experience designing and building electronic systems from the ground up, including circuit design and PCB layout. Your skills in embedded firmware development allow you to control complex electromechanical systems effectively. You thrive in a hands-on environment and are eager to take ownership of projects, focusing on delivering products rather than specializing in one area of electronics engineering. You understand the importance of data in backing up your design decisions and are comfortable working with subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics, balancing electrical and mechanical requirements.
Experience with prototyping and production electronic systems is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and practices in electrical engineering will help you excel in this role.
At Formlabs, you will be responsible for designing and building prototypes and production electronic systems. This includes circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded firmware development. Formlabs offers a competitive salary range of $85,000—$115,000 USD, along with equity in the form of RSUs.
