You have a strong understanding of property and casualty insurance — you can navigate complex insurance landscapes and develop innovative solutions tailored to business needs. Your interpersonal skills are compelling, allowing you to build and maintain relationships with key broker and carrier partners effectively. With 5+ years of experience in risk management, you are well-versed in the full renewal cycle and day-to-day maintenance of insurance programs. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with actuarial, claims, and legal teams to ensure optimal outcomes. You are an advocate for cross-company insurance partnerships, ensuring alignment and success across all relevant stakeholders.
Experience in managing international insurance programs is a plus — you understand the nuances of different markets and can adapt strategies accordingly. Familiarity with insurance forecasting, planning, and analysis involving new initiatives will set you apart. You are excited about the opportunity to integrate insurance strategies post-acquisition, demonstrating your ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
In this role, you will manage the strategy and execution of Lyft's insurance procurement for Rideshare, Bikes & Scooters, and Fleet. You will lead the full renewal cycle, ensuring that all insurance programs are maintained effectively and aligned with business objectives. You will partner with internal teams to advise on potential risks and coverage requirements, ensuring that Lyft is well-prepared for emerging international risks. Additionally, you will review insurance limits and terms in contractual agreements, providing evidence of insurance when required. Your role will also involve collaborating with stakeholders on insurance forecasting and planning, contributing to Lyft's growth initiatives.
