Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market in Houston. This role focuses on formulating and executing a sales strategy to achieve new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the public sector, with experience in driving new business acquisition. Your energy and passion for sales are evident, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. You understand the nuances of selling to state and local governments as well as educational institutions, and you have the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You are results-driven and have a strategic mindset, capable of formulating effective sales strategies that lead to revenue growth.
Experience in the physical security industry or related technology sectors is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and AI-powered platforms will help you understand Verkada's offerings better. You are comfortable using CRM tools and have a knack for data analysis to inform your sales strategies. A background in working with municipalities and educational institutions will give you an edge in this role.
