Overview

Axon is seeking a Mid-Level Account Executive to drive sales and introduce products to Law Enforcement customers. You'll develop regional sales plans and engage in lead generation. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to travel frequently.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with law enforcement or similar sectors. Your experience includes developing and executing sales strategies that drive results and meet targets. You are comfortable with outbound prospecting and have a knack for identifying decision-makers within organizations. You thrive in a collaborative environment, connecting with diverse perspectives to enhance your approach to sales. You are adaptable and can manage a territory effectively, balancing remote work with necessary travel. You understand the importance of building relationships and trust with clients, ensuring their needs are met with the right solutions.

Desirable

Experience in the public safety sector or with technology solutions for law enforcement is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software will help you excel in this role. A background in customer service or account management can also be beneficial, as it enhances your ability to understand and meet client needs.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Axon, you will be responsible for selling and introducing innovative products and services to both established and new Law Enforcement customers. Your day-to-day will involve tracking and following up on leads generated through various campaigns, ensuring that you are proactive in your outreach. You will develop and execute a regional sales plan that includes outbound prospecting and lead generation, aiming to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Participating in training sessions and skill-building activities will be essential for your professional development, as you will continuously refine your sales techniques and product knowledge. You will also engage in field sales activities, traveling up to 70% of the time to meet clients and prospects in person, fostering relationships that drive sales success.
