You have at least 3 years of experience in a controls technician role, showcasing your ability to wire and commission electrical and pneumatic automated control systems. Your background includes building control panels per schematics and modifying existing tooling, demonstrating your hands-on skills in a production environment. You are familiar with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A codes, which are essential for ensuring compliance and safety in your work. Your experience working with external vendors to build and install panels highlights your collaborative nature and ability to manage relationships effectively. You are proactive in troubleshooting and repairing existing assets, showing your commitment to maintaining operational efficiency. Your understanding of simple PLC software modification indicates your technical proficiency and readiness to tackle challenges in automation.
