Overview

Targetbase is seeking a Senior Marketing Project Manager to oversee program execution from conception to delivery. You'll manage scope, resources, and budgets while ensuring client expectations are met. This role requires 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in an agency setting.

Who you are

You have over 7 years of relevant program or project management experience, ideally within a marketing agency environment. Your background equips you with a strong understanding of managing complex projects and navigating the challenges that come with them. You are a process-oriented thinker who embraces challenges and rallies teams to ensure program success. Your experience has taught you the importance of effective communication and collaboration across various teams to achieve project goals.

You are adept at defining, estimating, and aligning on the overall scope of assigned programs. You monitor program progress against the plan and Statement of Work (SOW), proactively communicating variances and working with the team to resolve issues. Your attention to detail ensures that issues related to scope, schedule, budget, or quality are addressed promptly, and you document scope changes meticulously.

As the primary point of contact for assigned programs, you lead internal status meetings and provide information to account leads to successfully manage client expectations. You adhere to established standards and ensure compliance with processes, which is crucial for maintaining the quality of deliverables. Your ability to define, develop, and implement processes and best practices contributes significantly to the overall efficiency of the agency.

Desirable

Experience working in an agency is preferred, as it provides you with insights into the unique challenges and dynamics of agency life. A PMP certification would be a valuable asset, showcasing your commitment to project management excellence and your understanding of industry standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the execution of marketing programs across the agency from conception through delivery. This includes overseeing project plans, managing scope and resources, and tracking budgets. You will work closely with various crafts across the agency to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives. Your role will involve monitoring program progress and addressing any issues that arise, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet client expectations.

You will be responsible for documenting scope changes and communicating variances to the relevant stakeholders. Your proactive approach will help mitigate risks and resolve issues before they escalate. You will also play a key role in defining and implementing best practices for project management within the agency, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Your leadership will be essential in guiding teams through the project lifecycle, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals. You will facilitate internal status meetings, providing updates and gathering feedback to keep projects moving forward. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
