Desirable

Experience with reinforcement learning, generative modeling, and Bayesian inference is a plus. What you'll do

As a Summer Intern at Waymo, you will be part of the AI Foundations team, where you will tackle complex problems in autonomous driving. Your primary responsibility will be to develop machine learning solutions that address open problems in the field. You will work closely with experienced researchers to frame these problems and apply advanced ML techniques to find effective solutions. Your work will involve scaling your methods to Alphabet-sized data, ensuring they can run efficiently in real-time on vehicles.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other research teams within Alphabet, enhancing your learning experience and expanding your professional network. Throughout your internship, you will aim to publish your findings, contributing to the academic community and showcasing your work to a wider audience.
