Affirm is seeking a Lead Engineering Manager for their Continuous Integration team to oversee the design and optimization of development pipelines. You'll work on CI/CD processes and build infrastructure to enhance developer productivity. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills in CI systems.
You have extensive experience in engineering management, particularly in continuous integration and build infrastructure. You understand the importance of developer productivity and have a track record of leading teams to optimize CI/CD processes. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and technical excellence, ensuring that your team feels empowered and supported.
You possess a deep understanding of build orchestration and automated testing, having implemented systems that enhance the reliability and efficiency of development pipelines. Your ability to mentor engineers and drive a vision for CI systems aligns with broader product and platform goals, making you a strategic partner in engineering leadership.
You are skilled in optimizing build times and ensuring fast feedback cycles for developers. Your experience includes implementing monitoring and incident response processes that minimize downtime and enhance system reliability. Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code is a plus. Familiarity with various CI/CD tools and practices will help you excel in this role, as will your ability to communicate effectively across teams.
