**About the Role**
Based in Oslo, this is a **career-defining role** for an exceptional entrepreneurial leader, tasked with accelerating our market entry, driving rapid post-launch expansion, and establishing Uber Eats as the dominant delivery platform.
You will have the autonomy to define the market strategy, build and scale a world-class operation, and forge high-impact partnerships that deliver sustainable value to consumers, couriers, and our restaurant partners nationwide.
**What You'll Do:**
- Full P&L Ownership: Assume full ownership of the Norway P&L
- Defining commercial targets, and driving high-velocity, sustainable, and highly efficient market growth.
- Define Market Strategy: Design and execute the nationwide scaling strategy for 2026 and beyond, ensuring tight alignment with global Uber Eats priorities while deeply localising for consumer behavior and competitive dynamics.
- Hardwire Efficiency: Champion operational excellence by driving improvements across the three sides of the marketplace (consumer, courier, restaurant) to ensure best-in-class performance, speed, reliability, and outstanding customer support.
- Cross-Platform Leverage: Collaborate strategically with the Uber Mobility (Rides) team to unlock cross-platform efficiencies, share resources, and leverage the full power of the combined Uber network in Norway.
- Inspire and Lead: Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse, high-performing local team, cultivating a culture defined by inclusivity, data-driven decisions, innovation, and urgency.
- Strategic Partnerships: Forge and manage high-value, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise restaurant groups, policymakers, government agencies, and local community leaders.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the definitive public face of Uber Eats in Norway, handling all media engagements, press opportunities, public events, and policy communication.
**What You'll Need:**
- 8+ years of proven experience in strategic, operational, or executive leadership roles, with a clear history of launching, scaling, and driving impactful commercial outcomes in fast-paced environments.
- Native fluency in Norwegian and professional working proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility or equivalent experience managing complex commercial budgets and resource allocation.
- A strong, validated track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams and fostering a culture of ownership and rapid iteration.
- Exceptional executive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal teams and external partners (media, policy, enterprise).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Deep knowledge of the restaurant, hospitality, or last-mile delivery industries.
2. Previous experience working within a mobile consumer marketplace or high-growth tech platform.
3. Proven experience in crisis communications, public relations, and external brand representation.
