Minitab is seeking a Data Privacy Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in global corporate data privacy practices. You'll engage in vendor management, regulatory assessments, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for students eager to gain hands-on experience in data protection.
You are an enthusiastic and driven student with a strong desire to gain experience in global corporate data privacy practices and implementation. You are eager to learn and contribute to the day-to-day activities of the Data Protection Office, including vendor management and regulatory assessments. You thrive in a professional environment and are excited about the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues, including the CEO. You are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills, which will help you in reviewing vendor contracts and cataloging intellectual property files. You are also interested in developing internal education programs on data privacy issues, showcasing your commitment to learning and growth.
As a Data Privacy Intern, you will have varied responsibilities that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of data privacy practices. You will review new and existing vendor contracts to locate and record specific data and information, ensuring compliance with corporate policies. You will also assist in cataloging global trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property files, which is crucial for protecting the company's assets. Additionally, you will prepare summaries and reporting metrics on contracts and agreements, helping to streamline processes within the Data Protection Office.
