Overview

Benchling is seeking a Leader for Enterprise Sales to drive commercialization of their R&D Cloud platform. You'll lead a team of Account Executives to engage with top global biotechnology accounts. This role requires strong leadership and sales management experience.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales leadership, ideally within the biotechnology or technology sectors. With extensive experience in managing sales teams, you understand how to motivate and develop account executives to achieve their best performance. Your ability to foster relationships with C-level executives is second nature, and you thrive in environments where you can drive strategic initiatives and sales growth.

You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to assess sales performance and pipeline health effectively. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you are committed to creating a high-performing team culture. You are passionate about the intersection of technology and biotechnology, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company.

Desirable

Experience in the biotechnology industry is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-based solutions. You may have a background in sales training or coaching, enabling you to elevate the skills of your team members. A network of contacts within the biotech sector can also be beneficial as you seek to expand Benchling's reach.

What you'll do

As the Leader of Enterprise Sales at Benchling, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales strategy and execution for the R&D Cloud platform. You will lead a team of passionate Account Executives, guiding them through the sales process from qualification to close. Your role will involve setting clear sales targets and ensuring that your team has the resources and support needed to meet them.

You will actively participate in recruiting and developing top talent for your sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in top global biotechnology accounts will be a critical part of your responsibilities.
