Cresta is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design and build core infrastructure that enhances engineering productivity and security. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in a remote capacity across Canada and the US.
You have a strong background in infrastructure engineering or site reliability engineering, with experience in designing and building scalable systems that support rapid development cycles. You are proficient in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your expertise in Linux systems allows you to troubleshoot and optimize performance effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership of your projects while contributing to team goals. You understand the importance of security in infrastructure and are committed to implementing best practices to protect systems and data.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools, as well as CI/CD pipelines, is a plus. Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices and tools like Terraform would be beneficial. You are also encouraged to bring your knowledge of scripting languages to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
