Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior Avionics Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the development of the Terran R rocket. You'll be involved in the full lifecycle of avionics systems, ensuring the integration and functionality of critical hardware. This role requires expertise in avionics and manufacturing processes.

You have a strong background in avionics engineering, with experience in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex electronic systems. Your expertise includes working with printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) and you understand the intricacies of integrating avionics systems into larger aerospace platforms. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to tackle challenges that require innovative solutions. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are comfortable working in fast-paced settings where you can make a significant impact.

Desirable

Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and standards is a plus. Familiarity with software tools for design and simulation will enhance your contributions to the team. What you'll do

As a Senior Avionics Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead efforts in the design and manufacturing of avionics systems for the Terran R rocket. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all avionics components meet performance and reliability standards. Your role will involve overseeing the full lifecycle of avionics systems, from initial design through testing and installation. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the manufacturing process, ensuring that all systems function seamlessly.

You will engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R vehicle, as you work to deliver customer payloads to orbit. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth within the company.
