What you'll do

In this role, you will represent AWS in Korea, engaging with policymakers to promote the benefits of cloud computing. You will work closely with the Head of Public Policy for Japan & Korea, developing strategies to remove regulatory barriers and foster a favorable environment for AWS's growth. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry associations. You will also lead AWS's participation in relevant coalitions and business associations, ensuring that AWS's voice is heard in policy discussions.

You will be responsible for identifying policy risks and opportunities, providing insights to the business units, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align public policy initiatives with AWS's strategic goals. Your role will involve monitoring legislative developments and advocating for policies that support AWS's objectives in the region.
