Overview

Netflix is seeking a Senior Ad Sales Partner in Seoul to develop and execute sales strategies for the Korean market. This client-facing role requires exceptional relationship management and a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.

| The Team

At Netflix, our Ads business is focused on building a must-buy advertising solution, one that allows brands to connect with diverse audiences who are deeply engaged with the breadth and quality of our content. In Korea, we are at a uniquely exciting moment: over the past year, the Korea Ads team has built strong early momentum, and we are now entering a phase of accelerated growth as we scale the team and expand our impact. As part of the core Netflix Ads organization, the team is helping shape a best-in-class ads business from the ground up, leveraging Netflix’s proprietary ad tech to deliver a premium ad experience for members while enabling brands to connect with deeply engaged audiences. 

| The Opportunity 

As the Ads Senior Sales Partner in Korea, you will play a key role in developing and executing our sales strategy for the Korean market.

This is a highly strategic, client-facing role that requires exceptional relationship management, business acumen, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies. You will engage directly with C-suite and senior decision makers at major advertisers and agencies, influencing how the country’s most iconic brands invest in premium streaming environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, an extensive network of industry relationships, and a proven track record of delivering revenue growth. As this is a senior role, you will be expected to develop and drive long-term business strategies, build and engage in partnerships with top industry leadership, and proactively identify and define key business challenges to deliver effective solutions. | Core Responsibilities:
 

Client Ownership & Revenue Growth

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key advertisers, and their agency partners to drive revenue growth, while leveraging Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings to drive revenue growth.

  • Demonstrate strong sales acumen by rigorously evaluating sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue pacing, and translating business reviews into clear risk mitigation and acceleration actions.

  • Act as a thought partner to client leadership by helping them understand Netflix’s vision and collaborating on long-term strategies for shared growth.
     

Market Strategy & Innovation

  • Advocate for the value proposition of Netflix Ads and champion the adoption and understanding of Netflix Ads platform capabilities to accelerate sales velocity and unlock incremental revenue opportunities.

  • Identify and capture new growth opportunities across CTV, programmatic, emerging buying models, and cross-border campaigns by monitoring market trends, competitive dynamics, and innovation signals.

  • Proactively identify challenges and areas for growth, and develop solutions to accelerate continued progress.
     

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal teams—including Account Management, Marketing Partnerships, Measurement, Ads Marketing, and Product —to ensure flawless campaign delivery and an exceptional client experience.

  • Provide market and partner feedback to global and regional leadership to continuously improve our product, operations, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives to create value for both advertisers and Netflix.

| We're looking for:
 

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or business development

  • A seasoned understanding of the advertising ecosystem, positioning the role as a thought partner who connects market-level insights and emerging trends to ads solutions that meaningfully shift client decision-making.

  • A proven strategic thinker with a track record of impact who demonstrates excellent judgment, sets clear priorities in complex environments, and provides clarity on what matters most.

  • A self-directed, collaborative problem solver who takes end-to-end ownership, proactively drives initiatives forward, influences cross-functional partners, and confidently engages C-level partners to deliver results in ambiguous and fast-evolving environments.

  • Passion for developing innovative Netflix Ads that respect and enhance our content, brand, products, and fans

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong and confident presentation abilities

  • Ability to multitask, make decisions, and operate at entrepreneurial speed in fast-moving environments

  • Fluency in Korean and English, with the ability to operate effectively in both local and global contexts
