Handshake is seeking First-Line Supervisors of Food Preparation and Serving Workers to contribute to an AI training project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide feedback. No AI experience is required for this role.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in food preparation and serving, which gives you the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background includes resolving customer complaints regarding food service and training workers in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the development of AI in your field, even if you have no prior experience with AI technologies.
Experience in evaluating training materials or providing feedback on service-related tasks would be beneficial, but is not required. Familiarity with AI concepts or technologies can enhance your contributions, although it is not a prerequisite for this role.
In this role, you will participate in an AI research project that focuses on food preparation and serving tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate the outputs generated by AI models based on your professional experience. You will develop prompts that accurately reflect your field and assess the AI's responses to ensure they align with real-world tasks and language. This position allows you to work asynchronously and remotely, providing you with the flexibility to contribute from anywhere in the United States. You will also have the opportunity to provide structured feedback that helps improve the AI's understanding of workplace tasks.
