Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to support early-stage startups in their growth journey. You'll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide Solutions Architects and help startups make informed technical decisions. This role requires a solid understanding of cloud services and the unique challenges faced by startups.
You have a strong background in technical management, ideally with over 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your passion for startups drives you to help early-stage companies thrive, and you possess the technical credibility to coach and mentor a team of Solutions Architects. You understand the startup journey and the unique challenges these companies face, allowing you to provide tailored guidance and support. Your ability to build enduring relationships with customers makes you a trusted advisor in their growth journey. You are technically capable and have a solid understanding of various cloud service providers, not just AWS.
Experience working directly with startups or in a startup environment is a plus. Familiarity with a wide range of cloud technologies and services will enhance your ability to support your team and customers effectively. A background in sales collaboration will also be beneficial as you work closely with sales teams to drive growth across a diverse set of customers.
In this role, you will lead a team of Solutions Architects, providing them with the technical guidance and support they need to excel in their roles. You will collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities within the startup segment and help shape the technical skills of your team members. Your responsibilities will include coaching your team on AWS best practices and ensuring they are equipped to assist customers in making pragmatic technical decisions. You will engage with a variety of interesting customers, helping them navigate their unique challenges and empowering them through technology. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within your team.
