Finalis is seeking a Senior Director of Partnerships & Business Development to lead their partnerships and business development function. You'll be actively involved in the private capital markets community, building strategic relationships and executing partnerships. This role requires strong leadership and negotiation skills.
You have extensive experience in partnerships and business development, ideally within the financial services or investment sectors. You thrive in a fully remote environment and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across various time zones. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is second to none, and you are energized by being the face of the company in the market. You understand the nuances of the private capital markets and can navigate complex discussions with ease. You are a strategic thinker who can transform programs into valuable partnerships that drive revenue. You possess strong negotiation skills and are adept at executing agreements that benefit all parties involved. You are a natural leader, capable of guiding teams while also being hands-on in the market.
Experience in a player-coach role where you have successfully balanced leadership with active market engagement would be a plus. Familiarity with co-marketing opportunities and value exchange in partnerships is also desirable. A network within the private capital markets community will help you hit the ground running.
In this role, you will own and build the partnerships and business development function at Finalis. You will be responsible for transforming the Membership Advantages program into a strategic partner program, defining value exchanges, and creating co-marketing opportunities. You will negotiate and execute partnerships with integration providers, capital partners, service providers, and industry associations. Your focus will be on building relationships that lead to introductions, referrals, and co-selling opportunities. You will actively participate in market events, panels, and discussions, representing Finalis and driving engagement within the private capital markets community. You will work closely with internal teams to align partnership strategies with business goals and ensure that all partnerships are effectively leveraged to maximize revenue. You will also be expected to provide insights and feedback to the leadership team on market trends and partnership performance.
