Thumbtack is seeking a Manager of Success Operations to drive strategic initiatives and operational processes within the Success organization. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to enhance marketplace outcomes and ensure effective execution of goals.
You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with experience in customer success or related fields. Your ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans is key — you understand how to build processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness across teams. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with various departments to ensure alignment and clarity in objectives. Your analytical mindset allows you to generate insights that guide decision-making and improve outcomes. You are passionate about making an impact and are motivated by the opportunity to shape how organizations operate.
Experience in a technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with data analysis tools that can help you derive insights from marketplace metrics. A background in project management or process improvement methodologies will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can adapt strategies as needed to meet evolving business needs.
As the Manager of Success Operations, you will lead initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the Success organization. You will design and implement strategies that ensure pros and customers realize value quickly and predictably. Your role will involve collaborating with Sales, Success, Service, Partnerships, Product, Data Science, and Finance teams to create a cohesive operating rhythm that supports marketplace health. You will focus on building reliable processes and defining clear success metrics that guide the organization’s efforts. Your work will be instrumental in driving cross-functional execution needed to improve marketplace outcomes.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance. Your insights will help shape the direction of the Success organization, ensuring that it operates consistently and scales effectively. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share feedback and ideas that can lead to better outcomes.
