Overview

Nuro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic technology programs that drive execution and alignment across critical business partnerships. You'll work closely with engineering and business leaders to ensure successful operational execution. This role requires strong strategic and technical fluency.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a seasoned strategic technology program leader with a proven track record of driving company-wide execution and alignment across critical programs. With a strong executive presence, you excel at operating at the intersection of engineering, business strategy, and executive leadership. You possess the ability to translate strategic intent into operational execution, ensuring that the most important initiatives across all engineering organizations move forward with clarity and urgency. Your technical fluency allows you to understand complex engineering challenges, while your structured problem-solving skills enable you to identify top risks and dependencies that define success for partnership programs.

You have experience managing high-stakes programs and partnerships, particularly in the technology or automotive sectors. Your ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams ensures that all stakeholders are aligned and focused on shared goals. You are committed to creating a workplace that fosters inclusion and psychological safety for all employees, understanding that a diverse team leads to better outcomes.

Desirable

Experience in self-driving technology or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with AI and automotive-grade hardware. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your leadership style encourages open dialogue and empowers team members to contribute their best work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the execution of Nuro's most significant business partnerships, including the Robotaxi program and other vehicle and platform initiatives. You will partner closely with leaders across Engineering and the Business Group to ensure that strategic initiatives are prioritized and executed effectively. Your responsibilities will include identifying key risks and dependencies, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring that all teams are aligned on objectives and timelines.

You will report directly to the CEO, providing updates on program progress and challenges while advocating for the resources and support needed to achieve success. Your role will involve regular communication with executive leadership, ensuring that they are informed of program developments and any potential roadblocks.

You will also be responsible for developing metrics to measure program success, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. By fostering a culture of accountability and transparency, you will help ensure that all team members understand their roles in achieving program goals.

What we offer

Nuro offers a dynamic work environment where innovation and collaboration are at the forefront. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that aims to make autonomy accessible to all. We value diversity and inclusion, and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.

As part of our team, you will have access to professional development opportunities and resources to help you grow in your career. We believe in supporting our employees' well-being and work-life balance, offering flexible work arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package. Join us in shaping the future of transportation and making a meaningful impact in the world.
