Senior Software Development Engineer

Who you are

You are a dedicated JavaScript Engineer with a strong proficiency in React, both client-side rendering (CSR) and server-side rendering (SSR). You understand what it takes to build high-performance, scalable applications and have a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality user experiences. You have experience in writing great code and creating unit and integration tests that validate your work. You are also comfortable participating in planning, architectural discussions, implementation, and maintenance of a client and server-side JavaScript platform.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy engaging with engineers and partners across the organization to solve problems. You advocate for clean, high-quality code and participate in code reviews to ensure the best engineering practices are followed. You are also willing to support and mentor other developers on your team, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow.

Desirable

Experience with DevOps practices and familiarity with release and on-call activities would be beneficial. You are open to occasional visits to the GoDaddy office for team events or meetings, enhancing your collaboration with colleagues.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for bringing to life real-time, customizable white-label products used by customers around the globe. Your work will directly impact user experience and help GoDaddy win in its markets. You will follow best-in-class engineering practices to deliver high-quality experiences that customers will love. You will write great code and create unit and integration tests that prove its effectiveness.

You will participate in planning and architectural discussions, contributing your insights to the implementation and maintenance of the JavaScript platform. You will engage in DevOps, release, and on-call activities in support of our products, ensuring a high-quality and performant system that delights customers.
