Adyen is seeking a Lead Compliance Manager for their Customer Due Diligence team in Singapore. You'll oversee a team focused on onboarding and ongoing reviews, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient processes. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking.

Who you are

You are an experienced leader with a strong background in compliance and customer due diligence, particularly within the financial technology sector. With a proven track record of managing teams, you excel in coaching and developing talent, ensuring that your team is well-versed in compliance practices and regulations. You have a strategic mindset, capable of driving change management and shaping the direction of the CDD function across the APAC region. Your ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Commercial, Product, and Legal, as well as external stakeholders including merchants and regulators, sets you apart. You thrive in environments that require innovative thinking and ethical solutions, and you are motivated by the opportunity to help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology industry is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements across the APAC region. You are comfortable navigating complex compliance landscapes and have a knack for creating scalable processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and coach a high-performing Onboarding and Customer Due Diligence team across Singapore and Bangalore. You will empower your team leads and their respective teams to grow their knowledge in customer due diligence, ensuring they are equipped to handle onboarding and ongoing reviews effectively. You will play a pivotal role in evolving the CDD function, driving strategic initiatives that align with Adyen's growth in the APAC region. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with various internal teams to ensure a risk-aware and efficient onboarding experience for customers. You will also engage with external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. As a builder, you will be excited to drive change management and create scalable processes that support Adyen's mission.
