Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. Your background includes at least 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to guide products through the entire lifecycle. You have developed or launched products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area, showcasing your expertise in these critical domains. You hold a Master's degree in a technology or business-related field, which complements your extensive experience. You have worked cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders for at least 7 years, allowing you to navigate complex organizational structures effectively. Your experience includes preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership, ensuring that you can communicate product vision and strategy clearly. You also have a strong interest in building accessibility best practices and incorporating them into product development methodologies, reflecting your commitment to inclusive design.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development, ensuring that your team remains focused on delivering value to users. You will oversee the validation of market size and opportunity, analyzing user-based and strategic opportunities to inform product direction. Leading the team, you will define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative, for new or existing products or business ventures. Your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders will be crucial as you align product goals with business objectives. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior product managers, fostering a culture of growth and learning within your team. Your leadership will help shape the product narrative and direction, achieving outcomes that exceed expectations. You will continuously adapt to the changing landscape of security and privacy, ensuring that Google Cloud remains at the forefront of innovation in these areas.
